About the Course
Transporting a horse is more than just loading it into a trailer and driving it from A to B. Anyone who wants to transport their horse safely, stress-free, and in a horse-friendly manner needs sound knowledge, calmness, practice, and a clear strategy—that's exactly what our seminar teaches!
What awaits you
This seminar is aimed at all horse owners, riders, horse lovers and interested parties who:
want to load and transport a horse safely,
want to refresh their knowledge of security aspects,
are struggling with (loading) problems,
want to prepare for emergencies,
or simply want to build more confidence in handling the horse in the trailer.
The seminar consists of a detailed theoretical part and a practical demonstration part with a horse.
Theory part – knowledge that creates security
In the theoretical part we talk about all the important basics of horse transport:
Safety during loading and during the journey (e.g. suitable equipment, driving style, securing the horse)
Emergency situations : What to do in case of panic, traffic jam, accident or medical incident?
The right equipment : trailer types, loading training, safety accessories
Understanding horse behavior : Why the horse doesn't go into the trailer – and how to change that
Practical part – live demo with horse
In a practical demonstration we will show you step by step:
How to load a horse safely, calmly and correctly
How to teach your horse to load in a systematic and horse-friendly way
How to deal with common problems such as fear, blockages or insecurity
Which techniques work in practice – and which don’t
We attach great importance to patience, fairness and clear communication with the horse .
