Physiotherapy for horses
Your horse deserves the best support on the way to health
As a horse physiotherapist, I accompany you and your horse with professional competence, empathy and a holistic approach through all phases of rehabilitation – from the acute injury to the return to normal everyday life or sporting activities.
Whether after surgery, for chronic complaints or for prevention – targeted physiotherapy measures help to relieve pain, improve mobility and restore the natural functionality of the musculoskeletal system.
Together we will develop an individual therapy and training concept that is tailored to the needs of your horse.

My
services
Manual therapy
targeted help through hands
Joints, muscles and fascia are treated with special grip techniques and gentle mobilizations to release movement restrictions, relieve pain and restore the natural function of the musculoskeletal system.
By specifically palpating and treating blockages or tensions, I can respond to the individual needs of your horse
Vibration therapy
Deep relaxation
Vibration therapy with the Novafon is a gentle yet effective method for treating muscle tension, pain, and restricted mobility in horses. Through the targeted application of sound waves, the Novafon penetrates deep into the tissue layers, stimulating circulation, metabolism, and the body's self-healing powers.
Kinesio Taping
Support for muscles, joints and fascia
Kinesiology taping is used for muscle tension, tendon problems, lymphatic congestion, scar treatment, and post-injury support, among other things. It promotes blood circulation, stimulates lymph flow, and supports the body's natural regulation.
Fascia therapy
free movement through released tensions
Fascia is a delicate but vitally important network of connective tissue that connects muscles, organs, and joints. Adherent or hardened fascia can limit your horse's mobility, cause pain, and significantly impact performance. Treatment promotes blood circulation, improves the flow of movement, and supports recovery after stress or injury.
mobilization
for more mobility
Mobilization is a gentle yet targeted technique in equine physiotherapy that supports the mobility of joints, muscles, and surrounding structures. Rhythmic, passive movements can relieve movement restrictions, reduce tension, and promote circulation.
Especially after injuries, in cases of protective postures or stiff movements, mobilization helps to restore the natural range of motion of the joints and relieve pain.
Dry needling
Precisely for tense muscles
Dry needling is an effective technique for treating muscle tension and trigger points. Very fine, sterile needles are inserted into tightened muscle areas to relieve localized tension, promote circulation, and reduce pain.
acupuncture
Energy in balance
Acupuncture is a proven method of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) that is also successfully used in equine physiotherapy. By inserting fine needles into specific acupuncture points, the body's energy flow is harmonized, blockages are released, and the body's self-healing powers are activated.
TENS therapy
gentle electrical impulses against pain and tension
TENS therapy (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) is a proven method for pain relief and muscle relaxation. Gentle, low-frequency electrical impulses stimulate nerves, promote blood circulation, and stimulate the release of the body's own painkillers.
